www.Cumuleo.be biedt een databank van Belgische publieke mandatarissen en hun mandaten, functies en beroepen. De website zelf is er enkel in het Frans, maar laat dat je niet tegenhouden om de informatie te gebruiken!

Sinds enige tijd gebruik ik naar volle tevredenheid de dienst Wunderlist. Een eenvoudig maar superhandig programmaatje om to-do lijstjes bij te houden.

Nu brengt de firma 6Wunderkinder nog een extra programma op de markt (allez, tot nu toe is Wunderlist nog gratis, ik weet niet of het nieuwe programma ook gratis wordt) genaamd Wunderkit, waarvoor je hier kan inschrijven. Het programma belooft je persoonlijke en zakelijke leven te organiseren. Ik ben alvast benieuwd…

Aja, Wunderlist is naast een Webapp ook een applicatie voor Ubuntu, Windows, Mac en zeker de moeite waard om eens te bekijken.

Dropbox is een prachtige uitvinding, maar je kan er geen documenten in bewerken. Daarvoor is Google Docs natuurlijk prachtig, of zelfs Office 365 als het echt moet. Maar wat ideaal zou zijn, is dat de inhoud van Google Docs offline beschikbaar is op al mijn computers (vooral ubuntu, maar ook één Windows 7) voor bewerking… Of een synchronisatie tussen Dropbox en Google Docs, zoals ik vandaag met CloudHQ aan het proberen ben, maar wat ongelooflijk lang duurt.

Iemand een andere suggestie? Documenten en andere bestanden moeten offline beschikbaar zijn maar ook online bewerkbaar. Jolicloud of zo?

As announced in February new versions of the Linux training courses were being (re-)written by Paul.

I’m pleased to announce that v2 was merged in the master branch on github.

If you prefer to just download the latest books in PDF format, check out the download page. These are nightly builds from the master branch.

You may have noticed that since February 2011 there have been no updates to the free pdf’s. That is because we have been redesigning the docbook source code to accommodate smaller books (we call them minibooks). This mandates a rewrite of the build system and a refitting of the .xml files and directories. This is all being done in the git experimental branch.

We take the minibook redesign also as an opportunity to rewrite/improve the content of each subject. Making this a time consuming process. The good news is that some minibooks should be coming online soon (say July 2011).  We plan to finish at least the Linux Fundamentals (big)book by the end of July (it will consist of six or seven minibooks).
